Ajax Hub Jeweller - Intelligent central security system


Hub Jeweler is a universal Jeweler- enabled security alarm central panel that receives and processes sensor signals. This is the main device of the security system, which determines its functionality and capabilities. In idle mode, the receiving control panel monitors the state of the sensors and the operation of the connection lines. When an alarm occurs or settings are changed, the control panel sends a message to the user and to the control panel of the security company.

The Jeweler Hub works on the basis of the Jeweler radio communication protocol, which guarantees uninterrupted, reliable, secure operation of the hub and connected devices. Two-way radio communication delivers event notifications to the user and, in case of loss of communication between security system devices and the hub, switches to a frequency where there is no interference. An alarm signal is sent to the user or to the control panel of the security company in 0.15 seconds after the sensors have detected the movement of an unknown object.

Communication channels


To send an alarm, the hub uses two independent communication channels: GSM or Ethernet for SMS messages, push notifications or phone calls.

Thanks to the Jeweler radio protocol, the hub monitors the operation of security system devices at a distance of up to 2,000 m in the absence of interference.

The protocol has a time distribution of communication channels, frames from 12 seconds, short communication sessions, automatically adjusts the power of signal transmission, which makes it energy efficient and allows sensors to work from 7 years from pre-installed batteries.

Protection


Thanks to block encryption of data with a variable key, frequency hopping and authentication of devices during each communication session, the hub and the entire security system are protected from switching devices and signals. The functionality of the sensors is checked with pings every 12 seconds.

Up to 100 different devices of the security system can be connected to the hub, connect up to 50 users with different accesses, create 9 security groups, configure 5 security automation scenarios based on an alarm or on a schedule.

The hub body is protected by a tamper, which will immediately notify the user of an attempt to break it or tear it off the surface.

Hub Jeweler will allow you to create the small or large security system you need, focusing on your needs and the features of the protected premises. This is a universal hub for setting up a security system in apartments, offices, private houses and commercial real estate.

With Hub Jeweler, you can create a video surveillance system using Ajax video cameras or cameras from other manufacturers.

Hub Jeweler kit includes: Hub Jeweler control unit, power cable, Ethernet cable and mounting kit. The hub is easily installed and does not require disassembly of the case. Available in two matte colors: black and white.

Assembling



The hub is ready to work right out of the box. Settings are easy to set in the application while being directly at the protected object or being far from it. The SmartBracket mounting panel allows you to install the hub in a few minutes, and removing the device from the panel activates the tamper.

The control unit is also quickly installed thanks to the built-in power supply unit for 110-230 V~. So, when installing the device, you will not waste time on separate installation of the unit.

There is an LED logo on the body of the control panel that shows system status and events. The color of the logo reflects the current status of the device.

Alternative data transmission channels


Hub Jeweler simultaneously connects to 2 Internet providers via Ethernet and cellular network. In the absence of one communication channel, the hub automatically switches to another, and therefore always remains online even if there are problems with the connection.

The backup built-in battery of the central unit ensures its uninterrupted operation for another 15 hours in the event of a possible disconnection of the room from the power supply.

OS Malevich operating system guarantees stable operation of the device without freezes. The application account is protected by multi-level protection, 2FA (two-factor authentication with an additional level of protection for files transferred over Ethernet , which guarantees the confidentiality of data and protects it from cyber attacks), session control and login by password or biometric data.

The hub connects with devices connected to it over a secure channel through the Ajax Cloud server, which is located in several AWS data centers. Through the Ajax application, you can manage object security, configure the control panel and connected devices, create scenarios, monitor events locally or remotely. Applications show the status of each communication channel and traffic consumption by SIM cards, notify about the loss and restoration of the connection between the hub and the Ajax Cloud server.
