Description Reolink RLC-520A
The Reolink RLC-520A IP camera is similar in technological features to the cylindrical RLC-510A , but without its shortcomings. It has a similar resolution - 2560x1920 pixels, infrared illumination with 18 LEDs and a number of smart features that we will mention below.
Like most cameras in this line, the RLC-520A is equipped with motion detection, notification and object recognition functions. It is able to detect people and cars and notify you about it.
But it does not have the animal detection function. It can record information both constantly and when there is motion. Supports recording to microSD cards up to 256Gb and other media. It uses the Onvif protocol with third-party DVRs, and exchanges data with external servers via FTP .

Protection against vandals
The camera has a dome design, which makes it difficult to try to tear it off the mount. This is the same improvement of the 510th, which was discussed at the beginning of the description. The cylindrical camera body is attached to a bracket on which you can throw a rope and use it to tear the camera off.
There is no bracket in a dome camera. The lens guides rotate around the camera axis and allow you to fix its head in the desired position. Therefore, a camera of this shape is much more difficult to damage than a cylindrical one. However, the use of an anti-vandal box is not mandatory for it.
